Currently, Chongqing is striving to build itself into a globally influential and competitive intelligent connected new energy vehicle capital. It currently has 19 complete vehicle manufacturers and over 1,200 large-scale auto parts enterprises, achieving full coverage and clustered development of the three major systems, 12 major assemblies, and 56 components of intelligent connected new energy vehicles. In 2024, the city's new energy vehicle production reached 953,200 units, and by 2025, it aims to achieve an annual production of 1.3 million units, accounting for over 10% of the national production and sales volume.

The vigorous development of the industry requires a high-quality platform for exchange and cooperation. The 2026 New Energy Vehicle and Motorcycle Manufacturing and Equipment Exhibition was thus created. The exhibition is scheduled for May 20-23, 2026, concurrently with the "26th Lijia International Intelligent Equipment Exhibition" at the Chongqing International Expo Center. It leverages Chongqing's complete automotive industry ecosystem while closely following the development trend of intelligent connected new energy vehicles, building a core bridge for technology display and business matching for upstream and downstream industries.
